EXPERIENCED TAX ASSOCIATE/SENIOR TAX ASSOCIATE

Fairman Group Family Office located in Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Experienced Tax Associate/Senior Tax Associate.

Fairman Group Family Office is a boutique firm providing a full range of independent, objective wealth management, strategic planning, accounting and tax advisory services to high net worth individuals and families. We are currently seeking exceptional tax talent to join our rapidly growing organization.

JOB DUTIES

• Prepare/review federal, state, and local income tax returns for partnerships, individuals and trusts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Assist management with multiple areas of tax and financial planning.
• Perform tasks involved in the everyday course of business operations.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and proactively apply new knowledge to client engagements.
• Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to coordinate efforts, share knowledge, and ensure efficient and effective delivery of tax services.
• Assist with federal and state examinations, tax research, and various other projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Two or more years of tax compliance experience.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrates a collaborative team approach with other staff members.
• Solid computer skills with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
• Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and handle multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Previous experience with tax preparation software in a professional services firm is preferred, experience with CCH Prosystems is a plus.
• CPA or EA is highly desirable, but not required.
